About the Group

The LSU Vision Lab conducts fundamental research aimed at developing visual systems that can learn autonomously and operate in the real world. Inspired by the survival pressures that shape biological organisms, we study core visual mechanisms such as motion, geometric perception, and occlusion. Our work focuses on online visual perception in closed-loop systems, with an emphasis on robustness and real-time performance, and spans research across robotics, neuroscience, and optimization.
